Alejandro, obtained his law degree from the Universidad La Salle (ULSA), graduating with honors in 1988. In addition, he completed several courses in the field of international customs regulations.

 

He also rendered his professional services in the Tax Administration Service in Mexico for more than 28 years, heading the Central Administration of international affairs in the General Customs Administration.

 

As a public servant, Alejandro represented Mexico in different forums at the World Customs Organization, leading the negotiation of more than 15 Bilateral Agreements on customs co-operation and mutual assistance in customs.

 

Additionally, Alejandro is currently the Secretary-General of the International Association of Authorised Economic Operators.
